We are Josh and Dee, life partners who have a shared passion and love for dogs. We’re a team of two who’s been grooming and dedicating our lives to dogs here in Canberra as The Dog Barber since 2016.

We believe we are here to assist dog owner’s in taking care of their dog’s health through the art of grooming. Working with dogs all day is highly rewarding. Our calm and assertive approach to each dog goes hand in hand with the environment of our home salon. Being a family run business, we can ensure each dog receives a one on one approach.

We specialise in transforming your dog’s appearance using only the finest quality products and tools. With formal qualifications, we regularly update ourselves in new training to enhance our skills and techniques throughout this forever progressing industry as we are passionate about what we do.

Dog’s bring a natural abundance of relaxation, happiness and joy to human life. When we first met, we realised we both had a mutual love and respect for dogs. Therefore, it was then one of our many dreams and goals as a couple to create a career for ourselves that allow us to spend countless hours and form a bond with these extraordinary animals. This has since become one of our dreams come true.
